How we work
Three rules every technician follows
01
Speed
When a toilet will not flush, every minute counts. We run the largest fleet of pump trucks in Oregon and answer the phone 24/7, so there is always a truck close to you.
02
Integrity
No surprise charges. We never start extra work until you have seen and approved the estimate, and you only pay for what we pump. Many of our trucks measure the exact gallons extracted.
03
Quality
Our technicians train every year and get called in to solve the problems other companies could not. Calling us first saves you the second visit.
Included with every pump-out
The 28-point septic stress test
While the tank is open, we check the parts of the system you cannot see. If something needs a minor repair, we can often do it on the same visit.

FAQ
Questions we hear every day
How often should my septic tank be pumped?
Most homes need pumping every 3 to 5 years. The real answer depends on the size of the tank and how many people live in the house, which is why we measure the sludge level on every visit and tell you when to book the next one.
How long does a septic system last?
Forty years or more when it is pumped and looked after. The type of system matters too: a gravity system has fewer parts to wear out than a pressure distribution or sand filter system.
Is it cheaper to repair a system than to pump it?
No. Pumping every few years costs a small fraction of a repair. A failed drain field or collapsed tank usually runs into the thousands, and regular pumping is what prevents both.
Do additives like Rid-X help?
No. Additives can kill the good bacteria that break waste down in the tank. The EPA warns against them and says periodic pumping is the only reliable way to keep a system working.
Can I use a garbage disposal with a septic tank?
Yes, if you are careful. Put food waste down it and nothing else, and expect to pump a little more often because a disposal adds solids.
What should I know before buying a house on septic?
Get it inspected. An inspection tells you the age and condition of the system, finds problems before they become yours, and tells you whether it needs pumping now.
